Every manifesto is an exercise in limitation
Acts of thinking must involve the hands, the body
An artist does not distinguish between making and explaining
Loving and caring for people without ever making is a purely artistic life
Beauty resides in justice
Artists must try to think planetary
Artists must learn to decolonize their manifesto
It is critical to have an intuition or develop an acute sense for power, who has it, and what it does
Our first duty is to care, to love; the first act of caring is sensing
Our second duty is to express
Every artist/carer may wish consider learning another skill aside from expression if they cannot sustain themselves and others through care
Care and expression are the most socially sustainable ways of living
All artists can always find solace in nature, meaning in themselves and others
All young artists need to excavate and desolate their sense of self at least once
We must develop a sense not of what is political and what is not, but when things must be political and when they must not be
We must always apply theory
Artists must be of this world and in this world
Artists must never become machines
