Funding and Ethics statement
As a researcher, I aim to ensure my work is grounded in a commitment to socially responsible, inclusive and ethical practice. I strive to recognise the individuals and communities who contribute their data to my studies, disclose all funding sources and declare any potential conflicts of interest.
I aim to ensure that all research and group outputs I contribute to use inclusive language and draw on diverse and representative data wherever possible.
At times, my research explicitly engages with and advocates for more participatory, community-centred approaches, particularly in relation to technology and governance.
A number of resources have shaped my thinking and practice, some of which I have contributed to, and many more from which I have learned. A few of these include:
UK Research Integrity Office: Equality, diversity and inclusion resources

The Will to Change: Men, Masculinity, and Love by bell hooks

My current research activities are funded by the UK Government, the European Union and the Leverhulme Trust. Specifically, I am supported by ESSGN (HORIZON-MSCA-DN-2021 (101073237) and the Leverhulme Trust Large Centre Grant LCDS (RC-2018-003).
